![]() I did intend for DIN to come across as a font that is readable from afar and I think that is very similar to an announcement as you would want any announcement to be immediately readable. This kind of ties in with the way that DIN is used in Germany on road signs. I showed my poster to my roommate and he commented saying that he could see it used in announcements and other serious communication. Also through the use of the white lettering on the blue background I intended to communicate that it is great for signage. I tried to communicate how effective and readable DIN can be at farther distances. What particular attributes about your typeface did you intend to communicate? How did you achieve this? The character set is smaller but as a whole creates the next element block the viewer should see.
